Anchors Aweigh (Navy Anthem)

Fuzzy at Fleet Week in NYC today, on the USS Wasp, an amphibious assault ship of the US Navy.  The ship is 800 feet long and 150 feet wide.  It is staffed by Navy and Marine personnel.

As you can see from the pictures, the experience was very hands on.

Fuzzy has wanted to go to Annapolis or ROTC Navy for about 3 or 4 years now, so he really, really enjoys experiences like today!

Again, a fitting tribute to our men and women who serve to protect so we do not.  Thank you for protecting our freedom and way of life here and abroad.

be well,
Dawn

Very cool Dawn--  He looks so serious in some of the photos!  You got yourself a little military man!  I especially like the photo where he is looking over the wheel in the jeep--very cute.  Julie :)

I'm so proud of my son being in the Royal Navy and love going to any open/family days they have. He's been over six years now, only another 16 to go.
