I laughed at the bottom of your entry when you wrote "Aren't I a ray of sunshine?" I am so not a morning person. LOL. I've taken to making a groaning "ugh" at my husband in the morning in place of the words "good morning." The thing is that in my current state of cognitive dysfunction, I am confused as to who to vote for and who not to vote for. My only certainty is Vito Fossella. Why him you ask? I have first hand experience with him. He and his staff worked diligently to help get my Social Security Disability mess straightened out. Of course, he had no impact on the decision of the judge. But, for months my case sat on top of a file cabinet because my examiner had no clue what to do with me. They were so set on denying me, but couldn't find cause. Each and every doctor they sent me to agreed that I could not work. Finally, they denied me on the basis of my inguinal hernia. An obsecure reason because the only thing that was ever mentioned about that was that my ongoing auto immune flare was the direct result of that trauma and surgery. Vito's office straightened out the mess. Yes, I was denied but at least someone was there to take the time to try to fix it. I was subsequently approved at the Administrative Law Judge hearing. But, Vito and his staff took the time to help this one person. I believe he does believe that one vote counts.

Hugs, LuAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2750848569067701921.post-53004462566757557662006-11-07T06:15:00.000-08:002006-11-07T06:15:00.000-08:00Yes, you are a ray of sunshine this morning. I swear at five o'clock in the morning my body is still convinced that DH has somehow managed to miss PT because he's still in bed. Pay no attention to the fact that it is still pitch black outside because, well, it's five o'clock in the morning! LOL I used to be a stunch middle of the day type of girl. We moved here, thank you oh insightful ones who hand out transfers in the Army, and I'm a morning person, by lunch, I'm ready for bed. I was in bed sound asleep before 7 PM last night, what does that tell ya?

This should so be an email. Sorry. LOL

About voting. I did not vote and neither did DH. We still have no clue about what's going on here and all the amendments and whatnot and I just wasn't up to sorting out the mess this year. Had I voted, I would have voted for Jamie Pedersen. That guy rocks my socks. (http://www.peopleforpedersen.org/)

I don't care much for the local stuff, since we move so much. We're never in one place long enough to see any of it anyway. I care about the national level. I had a prof in college, I have a degree in political science, who swore up and down that you should not vote, it does not matter. He was registered to vote, never showed up for a single election. Pulled jury duty every year, said it was his civic duty.

See, now I really am rambling and should have just sent the email.

I'm not a ray of sunshine, I have pics for you about just that btw.
