<---- Italian-American men, making zeppoles at a fair
What are zeppoles?
Ahhh... as anyone living in the Northeast, or in any area with a significant Italian-American population can tell you... Zeppoles are heaven.
They are poofy little dough balls, deep fried, drenched in confectioners sugar and thrown into a bag!
YUMMY!!!!
(similar to Funnel Cake, but softer and better and sweeter!)
be well,
Dawn

This was very cruel. I am now trying to eat my screen. The last time I was up in New York there was a street fair and my soninlaw got me a bag of these oh my God are they good. Florida is very uninformed when it comes to anything tasting good....pizza, baked goods everything sucks down here because of the water and humidity. oh, I'm backing away from the screen slowly....lol...Sandi
Hmmm... yummy! I think I remember making something like this as a girl scout a long time ago... We used biscuit dough, deep fried it and rolled it in sugar. It was a recipe in our scout book I think.. Julie :)
Ah, I know them Well !!!!

They look and sound tasty, but not exactly healthy. Not that that would put me off too much!

Uh... Yum. They don't make those here in Georgia. Obviously I must get up north for some.
