Right then, these are my 6 questions for you today.
1, If you could meet any living person in the world today, who would it be?
2, You took them to dinner, Where would you go and what, would you eat?
3, What is the most important thing in your life?
4, If you could choose any City in the world to visit, which one would it be?
5, If you could change anything in the world, what would it be?
6, Do you think we are the only living planet in the universe?
Ok, so they are a bit intense, but I am in that kinda mood today!

1. There are many, many living people in the world today that I would like to meet. Ugh, just one... I would have to say my online friend, Helen. We have known each other via the internet since 2002, and she is like a long distance mom!
2. I would take Helen to a really fabulous Italian restaurant that is about 5 minutes from my house, because I know in Florida, she isn't getting the 'good stuff' that she used to get when she lived up here in NYC. LOL Don't know what specific dish we would eat, but it wouldn't matter because it any of them would be AWESOME!
3. Oh Gaz, you already know this answer for me, don't you. The most important thing in my life is being a good mom to my kids. Raising them to be tolerant, loving, generous, intelligent, well-rounded adults, and seeing them achieve happiness with their goals in life, whatever they may turn out to be.
4. Well, chosing by 'city' alone, London wins hands down! There are so many amazing landmarks and museums I want to see, and so many wonderful people to meet, right Gaz?!!!
5. I would wipe out intolerance. Make everyone accepting of everything, race/color, religion, sexual preferences, likes/dislikes, geeks, freaks, everything. The world become all inclusive and full of RESPECT for DIFFERENCES, whatever they may be. (It would truly change the world if everyone just did that, wouldn't it?)
6. No, I don't think we are the only living planet in the universe. That would be so arrogant to assume. I think it would be far smarter an assumption that there could be 'many' liveable planets out there, with sentient beings. Just my humble opinion, of course!

"Okay then, here are my three:
1) Who were your best friends in high school?
2) What do you think drew you together?
3) Are you still friends and keep up with each other?
De ;)
1. I didn't have any specific 'best friend' in high school, more like many different friends. I went to a regional school, where everyone was from different towns. I had friends from my hometown that I was still close with, and my friend Fred, although he lives in Arizona, will always be one of my best closest friends. We started kindergarten together!!!
2. The friends I did have were usually the girls in my class. We had that mostly in common, and hung out to do homework together, and then to socialize together.
3. The only friend I have from high school still in my life is my best friend, Kathy. However, she was two years ahead of me in high school, and we only started to become close after my graduation in June 1983, and that was through a common friend. By October 1983, Kathy and I were inseparable. A year later she moved into my room, and my parents house with me, and sister's of the heart we became.
I will be back with an update later...
be well,
Dawn

This is a lot for me to think about. What I do know is that for me, my world revolves around Libby, Mom, and "The Mutts". Thanks for putting my mind in gear. Regards, Bill.
I wonder if life in other galaxies hasn't put up a big barbed wire fence around us.."Stay Away: Violent Earthlngs." Yes, they are probably all partying like at the cantina on Star Wars and we aren't invited because we'd ruin everyone's fun.

Dawn, the more I read your blog, the more I love you as a Mum, 'Mom' and a lovely human being!
Hugs, Gaz xx
Dawn,
My answers to the first part.
I would love to meet Prince. I would expect him to take me to dinner. It would not matter what we ate. Just to be able to spend a little time with him.
The most important person in my life is my daughter. The most important thing in my life is continuing my education, obtaining my degree in psychology.
The city I would go to would be Madrid, Spain. Art, poetry, history and much more.
If I would change the world. I would take away hatred and intolerance.
I think we are a little pompous to believe we are the only living beings in this big universe.

Again, great answers! The one about there being life on other planets makes my brain hurt!

Great answers, Dawn. I had two really good friends starting in elementary school and ending up way past high school, Anne and Nicole. Nicole faded out before I married my ex. Anne chose to be friends with my ex when we divorced because "hanging out with you would cause me to go to hell." Oh well, nothing like a 20year friendship gone to "hell". Good to hear some friendships make it. De ;)
