Pumpkin has a facination with the name 'Bob'. It is her favorite name. She names all 'silly' things Bob. Christmas trees, things she draws, new stuffed animals, rocks, pencils, you name it - and it is already named Bob.
Pumpkin even has a Bob dance. The funny thing is also that we know many Bobs!!! This makes for much silliness around here. I know, it makes no sense... you just have to be here, I guess!
Oh and the entry name, The Who Song... Pumpkin calls it 'Bob O'Reilly' so there ya go.

The football Wild Card Playoff Games were this weekend. The Giants won today, so that was good! Next week they take on the Cowboys, and hopefully win!
We watched American Gladiators tonight and it was fun. They have some new challenges, and it is definitely harder than it was in the 1980's.

OMG...Bob is the joke around my house, too. Everything silly gets named Bob. Or if my little boy asks what something is called or someone's name, we just say "Bob." He used to believe us, but he has caught on and now does his own Bob-naming.

i have to cheer on OSU against LSU tonight! For some reason, every single male elderly driver who gets in my way and drives slow i call "Bob" as i yell at him.....Rick had a grandpa Bob who drove slow....we call all elderly females in a car "Dorothy", which was Rick's deceased grandma's name.

My son sings a song all the time (from some kiddie cd) where a guy is talking about all his pets and they are all named Bob! :)

We have a gnome ornament that sits on a swing hanging in the backyard. We call him "Bob". My son is scared of Bob the Gnome, because at night he gets off the swing and knocks on the door when he doesn't want to go to sleep or is too loud. When I played Barbies with my sister, I had a Ken doll, and my sister had this other male barbie type doll that wasn't a "Ken" and she called him "Bob." Bob is just a solid good name I guess.. May be one day she will meet a Bob in real life and fall in love and marry him, then when they have kids they will have a whole array of "Bobs"... Bobby Ray, Bobby Jo...... OH, and my mother in-law's name is: Bobbie! It's not short for Barbara either--she was baptized "Bobbie Lou" Julie :)
Bob- easy to remember, no mistakes if everyone's named Bob. The cat at the bottom should be named Potsey though. He forgets his keys all the time.

LOL.. Lauren's nickname use to be LaurieBob it started because she carried her bottle around with her everywhere and if she got mad at you she'd hit you with the baby bottle "Bob". So that is kinda funny she is amuzed with that name. Thank goodness she's not older and having a baby or that would be your grandchilds name.
I've done this meme before a long time ago, might have to dust it off and redo for the new year when I get a chance.
