I only read her journal a couple of times, but it's still sad to lose a member of J-land.

Hi Dawn,
I didn't know about Irene's blog but just visited and left my condolences. Reading through her last entries, it doesn't take long to see that she was a good person and a fighter to the very end. It's also a testimony to just how short our time is here and how we should treasure each moment.

I just read this, this morning! I am behind on my alerts!

My grandmother died of ovarian cancer. Her diagnosis came too late and she died 8 months after her diagnosis. How horrrible our very womanhood can turn agianst us.
As I read the last 5-6 entries of her journal last night I was brought to tears. Irene sounds like she was a great freind and so brave.
My heart is heavy for the lose of your friend. She led her life bravely.
and is an example for us all.
