I love the way this kitty is sitting on his owners lap! Too cute!
Today is raining. I hate rain.
I won't complain too loudly, because all those poor people in the UK have been clobbered, and (thank heavens) we are not flooding in our basement at this time.
But, dang, it makes my body ache! Ouchy!
IHOP was good for our brunch today! Yummy! Then, we ran a couple of errands. A new laundry basket from Target... stuff like that.
And, I needed a new hair mousse. Other women will get this, somehow, when you change your hairstyle, you need to change all your hair products, too. They just don't transfer well! Especially for such a drastic change as I did from very long and one length to much shorter and very layered!
In other news... the hamsters are adorable!
Here is the teeny little furry blur on the wheel! I promise to get better pics soon!
The kids are really enjoying them! I am too. They like to just sit in your hands! These are like little chipmunks more than hamsters. I don't know if that makes any sense... but it does to me.
Hubby is going back to work tomorrow, but it will be a short day. I am glad because I think it is still too early, but he won't listen to me.
be well,
Dawn

Did we get new additions? I'm trying to catch up now so I'll read back. Isn't it awful those poor people in the UK. It's beautiful here, but rain is coming our way end of the week. YUM Ihop is my daughter's fav place to eat. Can't wait to see the better pics. Hope you all have a great day.
Take care, Chrissie
Sorry about the bad weather.. It's very warm and sunny here in California--but sometimes muggy-earthquake weather.. eeek! Ever since I had a pet rat climb up my dress; I never had a desire for mice, rats, or hamsters-but they sure look cute! Julie :)
Mmmm IHOP. I haven't been there in so long. The hamsters do sound cute!
You could send your rain over here! We are over 12 inches short! It's crispy in the grass!

I love dwarf hamsters. My daughter had a few of them and used to name them after spices. Nutmeg, Ginger you get the idea.....I'm actually enjoying the rain we have been needing it for a while now. It's unusually cold for this time of the year though. (Hugs) Indigo
I know what you mean - I've been using "Big Sexy Hair - Root Pump" to get the lift and seperation I need for my do (I know it sounds odd - but someone has to use it). Happy to hear the new additions are making everyone smile! Hope your tomorrow does the same! Have fun,
Katie

I've always found that every so often I have to change hair shampoo and conditioner...it's like they only work for so long then you must switch out. You can always come back to it again after a few months. Thanks for your comments in my journal. This is the first campaign that I'm excited about in a long time. Imagine if all of us ladies pulled it together? Sandi
The hamsters are cute! We have a "pig gueana" as I like to call our Daphane. I am always switching out my products, too. De ;)
Well, of course you had to change all of your hair products! Duh!

Hair products? You mean I should have something besides whatever shampoo is on sale? --Cin
The hamster thing makes sense and I'm amazed you got them handtrained so fast. Took me forever and occasionally never! Good for you! So which one is that? Is that Peng or Brownie? -Dawn-
When do men EVER listen?

It rained pretty heavy on Long Island too.
Your little hamster is adorable.
hugs,

LOL...as I got up with the worst "Bedhead" ever. My girl did my hair a little differently on Sat. I didn't realize it but, oy, what a disaster. We've had a weird summer here. It started out hot, dry and sunny but after the 4th, it became wet and chilly. Hope the sun comes out soon for you. Hugs Chris
Your'e right, men don't get the hair thing!
Gaz ;-) xx
