I was honored by Donna, from This and that, and hockey!, as a Rockin' Girl Blogger!
Donna was honored tonight as well, and I encourage you to visit her journal if you are not familiar with her already! Donna is a great photographer and graphics artist, and had won awards for being so over her time in J-Land.
Which is why having Donna chose me as one of the five bloggers she wants to honor is especially gratifying!
And, now, as a Rockin' Girl Blogger, I need to honor five blogs!
Such a hard choice, as many have pointed out, since all of you are rockin' bloggers!! Arrghhh!
Here are my honorees nonetheless:
Cin, from Bad Altitude, who is private, so if you don't read her and read me, ask her to let you in! LOL She rocks! Her journal is not for the easily insulted or the faint hearted about taboo subjects. She is also a fierce friend, mom and wife. I love you, Cin!
Next is a sweet lady who I helped to convince to start blogging! I am so glad you did, Deb! Here is the link to Deb's blog, Frosty Thoughts . Go check her out, you won't be sorry!
Karyl, of Karyl's Glimpses of Eternity-- Lupus and Life , as you can see, has Lupus, like me. She has always been there with a kind word and advice over the years, first on the lupus message boards and now here in journals. Even in emails, too. Thank you, Karyl.
Julie, of Coelha Thoughts , may be one of the sweetest women in all of J-Land. Maybe even the entire internet! She somehow works, manages to love and care for her blended family, and still care for many via J-Land. Catch her before her family vacation to the Azores begins.
Finally, there is Gretchen, of Living in Savannah 2 , and I am at a loss to describe her to you all. 'Thankful Thursdays' originated with Gretchen, and I will be always thankful to her. Gretchen lives with a dignity and humility that awes me. I will leave it at that... go visit her journal and learn about this amazing woman for yourself.
