Holly and the Ivy

So, stomach flu has arrived here at our house.  Ack.

Pumpkin started feeling nauseaous last night, and very generously she has passed it on to me.  Yuk.

My mom had her kidney stone blasting today, and all went well.  They put her to sleep, but didn't have to intubate, so she was very relieved.  They were able to break up all the stones, and now she has to try to catch them in a strainer as they pass for the next  7-10 days.

At my appointment with the MS specialist it was confirmed that the MRI was negative for MS.  Good news.  It was only the preliminary report, but I did get the films copied on to a dvd for the uber-neurosurgeon.  I will see him in January some time.

That's it for me today, I am feeling too punky to do or say much more!

be well,
Dawn

Stomach Flu is something we cannot afford to have around here.  I have to stay healthy to keep up the family moral.  Negative for MS is the best news EVER! :)

Ok I have to know why your mom has to strain her pee.  Why do they need the blastings?

Hi Dawn,
I sure hope the stomach flu passes quickly ... no need for that during the holidays.  Then, again, sounds like things are looking up.  The good news regarding the MRI sure puts the stomach flu in perspective!
Best,
Marty

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that you guys are under the weather.  Rest and get your strength back.  Hopefully it'll be the short version of the stomach bugs.  This is no time to get sick.
                               Sending some "well' wishes!,  Leigh
