Let it Snow!

Well, it isn't much, but it is snowing here, tonight!  Just some flurries so far!  It is nice because all the snow we had yesterday was gone today!

I know I am nuts... but I love it!

And, now... to answer some questions that have popped up in comments over the last few entries!

No, there will be no baby hamsters here because both our hamsters are boys.  And, trust me, there is no doubt about their sex.  Let's leave it at that!  LOL

Yes, my mom did feel like she lost weight after the haircut!  It probably was 5 lbs, no exaggeration!  You would not believe the weight of her hair!   Her new cut is really awesome, long layers starting at chin length, and then a few more until about 3 inches below shoulder length!

Dogboy does know his nickname in my blog!  He got the name because he loves dogs.  And, knows everything, and I mean everything about them!!

Hmmm... I know there was more, but that is all I can think of right now!

Starting tomorrow at sundown, will be Hanukkah!  Happy Hanukkah to all that celebrate!  Mazel Tov!

I will be celebrating this Saturday at my cousin Leslie's house!  She was raised in both faiths, and her mom is coming up from Florida this year to have her famous Hanukkah dinner that she used to have before moving!  This is a real treat!  It is the first in about 13 years!  Yay!  I am excited to share this with my kids!!!

Well, signing off for now...

be well,
Dawn

I used to love snow...until moving to the farm.  It is so much work when we have snow and being that we are in the middle of nowhere our roads always drift shut and the township leaves them that way until they are done with populated areas so one time it was 3 days until we could get out!!!!  We have snowmobiles but it was so deep they wouldn't run!  I don't look forward to snow!

How wonderful your Mom donated her hair to Locks of Love.  I truly believe it is one of the most wonderful gifts a person can give!

Your mom must have had some REALLY long hair if it's still below her shoulders.  That was sweet that she did that and donated it in your daughter's name.  Enjoy your snow!

I remember that light-headed feeling. I cut off my long hair YEARS ago.

Happy Hanukkah! I miss celebrating with friends back East. --Cin

Still no snow our way. Glad someone is enjoying it. After I asked about the hamsters daughter decided she didn't want that kind of gift at the moment so that is fine we're on hold until another time she said unless they can live at your house. LOL that's funny. I need a haircut so badly and refuse to have my pic taken until then.
Take care, Chrissie

That is so cool that you get to attend a Hannukah dinner.  Becky had a friend back in Pgh when she was in high school that was Jewish.  We got to attend all the holiday feasts.  I loved the tradition and the food, of course.  Ugh...you and your snow...hehe...it's falling like crazy here.  Love ya, Chris
