Monday Photo Shoot - Odd Man Out

Courtesy of By The Way... John Scalzi

Your Monday Photo Shoot on Tuesday: Odd Man Out

Your Monday Photo Shoot: Give us a picture of many things alike -- and one thing not. If you're of a certain age (i.e., my age), you'll remember the song from Sesame Street that went "one of these things is not like the others..." This is a picture version of that. Could be as simple as three cups and a dish, or six cars and a bicycle, or a bunch of young kids with on elderly person. You get the idea.

Well, I am combining this, for all your enjoyment, with some of my Christmas decorations.

Here is my odd man out picture...

Sing with me, 'One of these things is not like the other, one of these things, isn't the same...'  Oh how I loved Sesame Street!

Poor little Pumpkin... surrounded by Santa's, snowmen, and all things Christmas!  My Pumpkin does not want her little pumpkin to be left out!  lol

Here are just a few more of my living room:

 The village behind the couch.

 The ice skating pond.

 The fire place...

with stockings, and kitty beds! LOL

And, I didn't even show you on top of the piano, on the coffee table, on top of the computer cabinet, the bay window sill, or the little dodads on thedrapery rods!

After we get the tree up I will show you all that!  lol

I also decorate our foyer, bathroom, hallways, kitchen dining room, and family room!  LOL  I am actually behind, the bathroom curtain hasn't been changed yet!  It is a lot of work, but I love it!  If it were up to me, we would have a fake tree that I could put up the day after Thanksgiving, but since Hubby and kids insist on real, I have to wait for that!

Yes, it looks like a Winter Wonderland!

be well,
Dawn

I'm either blind or hungry. I was looking at the ice skating pond wondering why a half of an Oreo would be there. It's a bridge. ~Mary

Hi Dawn,
How depressing.  Yes, I remember that song well ... strange to think it would classify us as being "of a certain age ..."
Best,
Marty

HI!  I love your decorations.  Combining comments for time constraints, That was a great Thankful list.  We have to have "Real" greens(no tree this year) here too.  I just love the smell.  Gotta run, have a great weekend.

Your decorations are terrific, your home looks so festive & inviting.  I had better get on my decorating - we have the tree up but that is it.  Very nice!  Love the kitty beds in front of the fireplace!

Nice pics, but not quite nice enough to entice me into putting up any decorations at home.

Love your decorations, Dawn!  I wish I had a fireplace in this house.  My old house did.  I used to decorate everything also...even the bathrooms and bedspreads in the bedrooms.  I've really cut back because Megan would help me when she was younger.  I just don't have the time to do it anymore :(  Shoot, my live tree used to go up right after Thanksgiving anyway.  Now, I have a fake one.  Rambling on...hehe  Love n Hugs Chris
