Silent Night

I am laying in my bed right now, with Fuzzy sleeping next to me.

Maybe it was the storm, or his asthma/cough that woke him, but whatever it was, he is here now.

I decided to play a little more on the computer in bed, before sleeping.  I have a headache, and I am waiting for the medicine to kick in.

I watched Fuzzy as he was sleeping.  So peaceful, and I tell you, watching your child sleeping just brings out the fiercest feelings of maternal love and protection.  At least for me it does.

I actually got a lump in my throat...

Just wanted to share that...  good night all... sweet dreams...

be well,
Dawn

Dawn I loved how you described watching your child sleep. I know being a Mom we have such strong feelings of  love, protection and so many other emotions that  just well inside for our precious children
I loved going into Brittany's room and just sitting there watching her sleep, stroke her cheek or brush her bangs back. They represent everything innocent and peaceful.

Children are gifts from God--and when they grow older, they are still our babies.  We have been blessed.  :)  Julie

It makes you realize how sweet and innocent they really are when they are asleep!  Linda

I remember the times I would crawl into bed with my mom, the feeling of safety and security could not be matched....even to this day.  You are a wonderful mom ~ how lucky Fuzzy is to have you.

I very seriously advise all moms of teens to go watch them sleep, first, to make sure they are there, then , to realize under allt hat angst and bluster, there is that sweet child you used to love to watch sleep for hours on end.

Makes you think of when they were little bitty babies. It's amazing how much love you can feel for another person. Motherhood does have it's ups.
Take care, Chrissie
