Snow Day - Jersey Style

Oh Happy Day!  Finally!  Snow!  About 8 inches so far... Yay!

Here are my three kids, posing on the partially shoveled driveway!

Here is a picture aimed from the dry garage, where I was standing in my slippers and pjs, across the front of the house, to the corner.

Here is a picture from my back door.  I love the way the pine trees look in my neighbor's yard.  Again, too bad we didn't have this earlier, around the holidays!

I know so many of you have had tons of snow this winter, and you are sick of it.  We have had far below normal, with temperatures way above normal.  Strange.  So, bear with my little happy dance!  LOL

Stay warm and safe and happy, wherever you may be!

be well,
Dawn

I can see you are enjoying your snow, at least someone is happy about it.  LOL.  You had more than we did, we only have about 4 inches and now it is sleeting.  Your kids look cute in the picture, I had to shovel my own driveway!!!  :(
Enjoy,
Lisa

Hi Dawn,
Hooray (for you since you like snow).  I look at that picture and think "shoveling, shoveling, shoveling ... and freezing one's butt off)!
Best,
Marty

I love a good snow day!  I'll take that over school getting canceled because of the extreme cold (here on Wednesday it was -20 with the windchill so they canceled school).

Cool we had a snow day here too... only it was from an ice storm... so very little snow but all is slick here.  Your snow day looks much prettier than ours and I think the one of the kids is just adorable!!!

Lisa

I love the picture with all 3 of the kids lined up shoveling the driveway! Can you send them my way (winks)...Actually I have Doc do it, Pickles can't go out with me if I shovel and she justs jumps in the piles and pushes it all back again anyway. (Hugs) Indigo

Yay for Snow Days.  A very pretty picture( the tree one), and the kids look like they're having fun.  It was fun-the first time, but after "months" of it,  phhhtttt......
Yours looks pretty still ours just looks DEEP.  I was treated to some beautiful frosty trees this morning on the way to work.  Enjoy your snow, kiddo

Well, if I had known you wanted some snow......I wouldn't shipped an entire ice chest full :o)
I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed it so much. I felt that way back in Dec when it started snowing.........
I hope you are well,
Rebecca

My sister has told me her girls had a couple of snow days recently due to the snow.  They live in Cincinnati.  We still are craving one good snow, which we usually get every year but haven't in awhile.  Bummer.  I hate when it's cold enough to snow, and it doesn't, then it warms up enough for a chilly rain.  Grrr...pretty pictures, though!  Wish I could build a snowman!

Really glad everyone enjoyed the snow.  Oh, man!  The "snow" was one of the reasons we left New Jersey.

Have a happy!

I am so far behind but you sure did get your snow, didn't you?  Yep, I'm so sick of it because I haven't seen the ground for 5 weeks.  We've only had 2 days where it didn't snow.  Oh well, the ski resorts are singing.  Hugs  Chris
