Surrender

This is Dan's cat, DogCat, and an lolcat that Dan made just for me!!!  Thank you again, Dan!  Isn't he a gorgeous cat?  Yesterday, Dan did an entry on his night antics, you should visit to read it!

Since the temperatures shot up starting Sunday, Fuzzy's asthma slowly started to act up and hit a crescendo last night!  He is back on nebulizer treatments, about 4 a day.  ACK.

He had an attack last night at about 10pm, and that was after we had already given him an earlier treatment.  So, after treatment #2 at 10ish, I put him in bed with me, so I could keep an ear on him.  He coughed all night long, wet nasty coughs.  It only woke him a few times though.

I can't say the same, it was a rough night.  I gave him a treatment this morning, drove Pumpkin to school and went back to bed, which helped.

He had a second treatment around noon, and it is starting to work.  I will probably send him to school tomorrow, and the RN will give him a treatment there halfway through the day.

<Sigh>  Never a dull moment around here!

Today it is raining.  Not normal rain - oh no - more like 'Noah, figure out what's a cubit's length' kind of rain.  ACK.

So, I am sore and tired, and staying in my pj's with Fuzzy today.  Hammer has been waiting on his brother... so sweet!  And, still finding time to make me a coffee.  :-)

Oh crap.  I just realized I will have to pick up Hubby at the bus stop later.  Well, it won't be the first time I went in slippers and a jacket over my pj's!  LOL

Poor Libby.  She is so sad today because she hates the rain, too.  You should see the machinations I have to go through to get her down the stairs to relieve herself!

Ah well, stay dry if you can, and have a good Tuesday!

be well,
Dawn

ps.  This lolcat is for my daughter and Hubby, who like Shrek, love to exclaim, 'Better out than in'!!!

We had that rain last night but it is still coming down this morning.  My little pansy-butt dog hates the rain so much he relieved himself on my office floor.  Grrrrrr.
I got dressed but not cuz I wanted to!

the cat is great!
I hope Fuzzy is better soon.
Ilike it when it rains but alot of it will get you down.
The title reminds me of that Bruce song "no defeat, baby no surrender"
I am hearing it in my mind right now.

Hi Dawn,
OMG ... how does a cat grow to proportions like the one in the "miguel had a sneaky suspicion" LOLcat?!?  I guess cats must have some of the same problems humans do in terms of obesity!

I'm very sorry to hear about Fuzzy's asthma ... hopefully he'll be back to normal soon.

Best,
Marty

We've been having that horrible sideways rain all night with high winds!  I've been wondering how fast I can build an ark!  Enjoy your day.

OMG that LOL cat is funny!  Caleb loves to fart and goes "that one was a ripper!"  Jeez, the joy of children, ha ha.  Sorry it has been rainy and you all sore.  Have had a lot of "breathers" in the ER of late, nasty respiratory virus going around and I actually got it after proclaiming to a patient "I almost never get sick"...shouldn't have included the "almost", ha ha.  Hope you feel better today.  De ;)

Hope you got through yesterday as dry as possible.  Libby too.  Sorry to  hear about Fuzzy's asthma is acting up.  That has to be tough on the kid.
That bottom cat looks about ready to explode.  We made bean soup yesterday so that's not a motto at our house today.  We're withe the Shrek crowd!   ;)
