Starting Over

I am really sorry to do this... but I just can't catch up on the over 150 alerts I have received.  So, I am deleting and starting from scratch.  I feel bad because you all support me, but I just have to do this for my sanity!

Fuzzy is doing better.  I am hopeful he will be even more so tomorrow.

be well,
Dawn

hi Dawn
don't stress yourself out over hundreds of alert....no one can keep up on that many alerts. In my very early days of journaling, I'd answer/comment on every single one....it finally caught up to me, got overwhelmed and close my journal because i feel bad not being able to catch up on my alerts.
I keep coming back to read and write online, overtime, I learned that its ok not to be able to get to every single one in one day, there is just no way. I mean we have houseworks, some have jobs, we have kids to feed therefore we have breakfast/lunch/dinners to make, we have house to clean, there's bills to tend too on top of that we get sick. So, what I do is when I have the extra extra time, I read as much as I can, and sometimes I would not just read one entry--sometimes I read back. I try to save the alerts I have not gone to on that day, but if I was not online more than one day, I usually deleted the past two days (or three) and read the latest entry instead. Even that I still couldn't keep up. If I know I've read some journals today, I go read the others journals the next day. But this is not everyday, I don't get online all day, sometimes a few minutes here, there,  I do what I can.

Anyway, this is too long now :-) sorry, my point is don't worry, don't stress....I know where to find 'ya!

Girl, it isn't a JOB...and even if it was, you'd be allowed time off when your kid is sick (or if you just want to "pay the bills).

Dawn, never worry about deleting alerts; I've said it so many times before, journals will always be here and I can attest to that when I was gone for 15 months, I came back and same journals were there; you got to take care of yourself/family first

Delete away and start afresh; its the best way to go and don't worry about what people think; in fact next time delete without saying; I'm sure no one will be the wiser

hope Fuzzy continues to improve bit by bit with each passing day

No need to apologize to me, you have alot going on and I know the overwhelming feeling of seeing so many alerts.  I've had to do that recently as well since there is so much going on with the warmer weather.

I'm so glad Fuzzy's feeling better.  I'm sure no one has a problem with you not getting to each and every entry.  Deep Breath, kiddo!

Don't feel bad, Dawn.  We all have to do that occasionally.  This thing called life just seems to drain us of time and strength.  I'm so glad Fuzzy is improving and hope he continues.  Take your time getting back into the swing of things.  HUGS Chris

Hi Dawn,
Don't even worry about it ... just consider the alerts like an FYI ... there's no obligation involved!!  Thanks to your TLC, Fuzzy is on the mend!
Best,
Marty

No problem about the alerts.  I can never get to all mine either.  You just rest up and have a nice weekend and stop by whenever.  I'll be over here in KY.  LOL we had an earthquake today and I didn't even get to feel it.  Darn.  Hugs,
Lisa

Don't blame you at all Dawn, I have to do the same thing.  Life pretty much just get's in the way doesn't it?  Kitchen is looking fantastic!  De ;)

I think we all have to do that from time to time... for me it is a few times a week. I can't turn off the alerts. But I do respond to as many as I can realistically fit into my 'free' time before bedtime. Cute cat pictures. Have a good week. bea
