Thankful Thursday

A quick shout out to the website icanhascheezburger.com where all my LOLCAT pictures come from!

It is Thankful Thursday time again!

1.     (men shield your eyes) I thought that I was getting a stomach virus, but it turned out to only be my period, which sometimes makes me sick, just before yelling 'Surprise, I have arrived'!

2.     Coffee.  OH MY HEAVENS... I DO LOVE IT!

3.     Hubby, who loves to chase me around even when I don't think I look like I should be chased!

4.     My Mommy, who gave me a Borders gift card for books.  I really needed that, thank you, Mom!

5.     My kids, who were hilarious at their doctors appointment today.  Our doctor is wonderful and laughed along with us!  It turns out the office messed up and only the boys were checked out.  Pumpkin goes on Monday.

6.     My doctor's office, who are rescheduling me since I was feeling miserable this am.

7.     My Dad who has made a yummy smelling homemade sauce and pasta today for dinner.

8.     There have been some recent changes in the Boy Scout troop that my sons are in and I am feeling happy and relieved about them.

Hubby and the boys have a meeting tonight in final preparation for their week of Boy Scout camp!

I am going to miss them so much!

Tomorrow, we have the cable company coming to change our service.  I don't know when I will be able to get online.  We already use their internet, so we are adding their phone and cable which will save us tons of money!  Wish us luck!

be well,
Dawn

Very nice thankfuls, Dawn.
If you get lonely while the guys are gone, you can always come here, or IM me.
That last Lolcat reminds me of the time Son(age 8 or 9) came home from school early one day-"What's going on around here?"  OMG!  I've never moved that fast in my whole life!
Hope you feel better soon.

as always, great thankfuls!

we "bundle" our cable, phone and internet together; it does save lots of money; installation the first company took about 2 hours; the second time when we just moved took about 30-45 minutes; hope it won't be long for you so you are up and running!!

We have a similar package with our internet/phone/cable.
We were just saying though to maybe cut back on some cable channels, with the price of everything going up.
yummy, home made sauce ! I'm on my way.

Ellen

I hate when my period does me that way!  Glad other things are working out esp. with the Boy Scouts.  I know how important that is for your family.  Emma goes to camp on Sunday for 5 days.  I'm not sure what I'll do.  Cry probably.

Hi Dawn,
Good for you that your kids can laugh with Doctors.  Not everyone is that relaxed ...!
Best,
Marty

At least boy scouts know what to do if they find a tick on themselves....right?  heh
I'm really paranoid about bugs in my old age.

I have my internet and cable together too, but didn't add the phone line I probably should have it was just a little more. Hope you like all that together.
Such nice things to be thankful for sounds like you have a great family and parents too. I miss my parents so much. Enjoy yours while you have them.
Take care and Hugs, Chrissie

Have you seen the commerical that Mother Flo meets the girls coming off a plane?  So funny!

Today I am trying Houston blend from HEB coffee, has a hint of coconut!  Yummy.

My hubby chased me around when I had no hair and his favorite lady is Cher with long black hair so I was surprised baldness could turn him on!  <BG>

What kinds of books to do you read?  I love books, now big question...are you a member of PaperBack Swap and DVDSwap?  Trade old books with members for new books to read.

I've got all my oncologist appointments to schedule in August for the 6 month checkup.

I wish my daddy was around to cook for me, I miss that man!

We did Girl Scouts and I loved when the girls got to go to summer camp.

Yesterday we had to install a new Dish receiver, still not happy with them compared to Direct TV.  Wish we could save money but we're waiting 2 more months to switch back to DT.

Have a great Sunday!

I love your list.  We use our cable service for all three, too, and it is much easier and less expensive.
