Hound Dog

Here are two pictures I took tonight of Liberty, the sunny, never un-funny, yellow lab that brightens our world!

Just look at that gorgeous face, and those sweet eyes!!!

(Yes, she was begging for food, but she's a lab; she can't help it!)

I am so worried about her surgery tomorrow!!!

On one hand, I can't wait to get that ugly blob of tumor thingy off my beautiful baby!  On the other hand, I am so worried about it being cancerous!  And, of course, I am worried about the procedure, the anesthesia, the healing... you get the idea.

I am just plain worried.  I can't sleep.  I moved to the bedroom with the laptop to try to at least get more comfy and maybe it will help me start to settle down.  I can actually hear my heart beat.  Not conducive to easing into sleep.

I know there are some out there who won't get it, but Libby is my baby!  She just was adopted and has a lot hair, but I am her mommy, too!

I am going to play some Free Cell or Solitaire in an attempt to numb my brain from thinking any thoughts.

Wish me luck!

be well,
Dawn

ps... This is soooooo Libby!  LOL

So it is a Lab thing to beg for food, now I know it's not just Pickles. She looks like a sweetheart here hon. And yes, I do understand and know what your going through. I would be devasted if anything would happen to Pickles. I know her surgery is over by now, keeping her in my prayers on the smoke for a speedy recovery. (Hugs) Indigo

Aw, Dawn, I was sick most of last week and didn't get around much.  I didn't realize Libby was having her surgery.  Of course, you are worried sick.  Anybody with a furr baby knows how you feel.  (Grizzly is a lab/husky mix but seems mostly lab to me...they are the absolute sweetest doggies in the world.)  Love n Hugs, Chris
