The Storm

My internet is still wacky.  I have tried to catch up on some journals... forgive me if I haven't been to yours yet.

My weekend was full!  Shopping, bowling, nose blowing, needing to use my cane because my hip/leg was sore, playing UNO, watching a movie with the kids, breakfast Sunday with Ilene & Bob and kids, and Pumpkin's Piano Recital, too.

The town library received a donation of a restored Steinway!  Our recital was the first to play on it!  Very exciting!

Here is the video... enjoy!

Isn't she marvelous???

be well,
Dawn

Pumpkin, did a wonderful job. That sounds like a difficult piece to me and she seemed to play it perfectly. Bill

you know, you do more with your illness than most healthy people do in a weekend...shows what a good attitude and love for others can accomplish.

Everytime I hear someone play the piano I wish I had practiced and kept with it.  She plays beautifully.  Libby

She is very good!  I know how proud you must be!  I've always wanted to play the piano.  My mother played by ear.  Sorry to hear your leg/hip was giving you pain.  Sounds like a fun weekend.  Hugs,
