My Apologies to Patrick at Patrick's Place.
He does this wonderful Sunday Seven each week but I cannot do it this week! He wanted us to list 7 books we purchased and have sitting home on a shelf that have not been read.
I have no books on a shelf that have NOT been read.
Instead, I decided to list the following:
Seven Symptoms of LUPUS that you did not know about:
This is assuming that you do know the more common symptoms of fatigue, joint problems, kidney problems, lupus headache, sensitivity to sun, hairloss and skin rashes/hives.
1) Seizures
2) Osteoporosis
3) Pericarditis, Myocarditis, Endocarditis
(all problems with inflammation in the heart)
4) Pleurisy, Pneumonitis, Lung Disease, Pulmonary Embolism
Pulmonary Hypertension (all serious lung problems)
5) Anaemia,Thrombocytopaenia,Leukopaenia
(blood diseases, from least to most serious)
I have given you all of these as links which will bring you to a specific description of the symptoms in Lupus.
It is from a great site called The Lupus Site which will give much more in depth information on Lupus, its diagnosis and its symptoms.
I hope you learn something!
Thank you for reading.
Be well,
Dawn

I didn't know any of this. Thank you for the information. I'm so sorry you have this problem. I'm not religious but I wish you well.

Dawn, I'm envious you don't have any unread books; I must have dozens I need to read and I keep buying them.
Wow, I didn't realize seizures were a symptom of lupus. That was a new one for me to learn about. Thank you for going out of the box and not playing the Sunday Seven the usual way but educating us about a serious illness.

Would you believe, I have all but one of those seven? Yeah. My liver is ok.
Hugs,
Susan
Hey Little One, are you feeling better now? I hope so. Sometimes, when I get a cold, I feel sorry for myself. I don't realize that I am so fortunate that my mild discomfort is a blessing compared to what some people have to endure on a daily basis. Wish I could help you carry the load.
Thanks for sharing the symptoms.
