Do you think she will listen to me?
She has to be drunk.
The way I see it Mother Nature was going through menopause when she slammed the last ice age on us. She was hot and needed it cool.
The labile crazy 'hot where it should be cold and cold where it should be hot' weather must be the result of drinking. It just makes sense, something pushed her over the edge.
Maybe she caught Father Time with his pants down with a Spring Nymph?
I don't know... but something has seriously messed her up. She needs to put down the bottle and check her butt into Betty Ford. The Pacific Northwest has been slammed enough with snow and frigid cold. I want some cold in the Northeast and I want snow. It is January and 61 degrees. That is WRONG. Enough is Enough. And, it is raining, AGAIN!
CNN was actually scrolling on the screen that New Jersey had the warmest December in 111 years. UGH.
Usually the only time NJ makes CNN is when the Soprano like mobsters do something fun. Or our Governor comes out of his 'not so well hidden' closet. Dang. Now, that I can handle. This too warm, too rainy crap, not so much.
Okay... my rant is over for now. I feel marginally better.
Kind of like how I feel since my Orencia infusion. Marginally better. I am hoping that tomorrow will bring much better. I will let you know.
The RN at the Infusion Therapy room told me that since I was so late with my IV, it may take until NEXT MONTHS IV until I get back to the happy place I was before. This makes me very not happy right now. UGH.
Sorry for my crankiness... the rain and 61 degrees, coupled with sore swollen-ness is really yanking my chain today!
However, some things in life are good. We are going to Fuddrucker's tonight for their fabulous burgers. That makes me happy. ;-D
be well,
Dawn

I never knew that Mother Nature had a thing for Father Time. Kind of an odd pairing as I see her as being laid back and him always looking at his watch...or sundial or hourglass or whatever he uses.
A month to get back on track? Ouch. At least you have burgers to keep you happy. It truly is the Little Things which mean so much in life.
Take care,
Cin
lol mother nature can be a bitch at times but hey we as women can understand "pms".
Have a great time At Fuddruckers! Better plan than my Friday night. Making supper and finishing laundry. :)

I don't know what Fuddruckers is but it sounds like a name you need to be
careful with after a glass of wine!
I'll try to show you some unseasonal flowers tomorrow.

My Dear Friend,
I am so sorry you are out of sink with your infusions. It sucks big time that these meds are like that. I hope that the nurse is wrong and you get relief very soon.
I, too, hate this warm, rainy weather. It's January for goodness sake and we should be having cold weather. Some snow even. I don't mind the snow at all. And, the cold weather helps me so much. I suffer from those horrible prednisione hot flashes. A combination of that and going into stores with high UV lighting knocks me for a loop for days and days. Almost immediately I feel like I am going to pass out. Forget about the sores that appear on my head and face. So much that I dread going shopping. Khols, Target and Fashion Bug are the worst. Even lathering on the sun screen doesn't help. Fall and winter are my seasons. Even with the cold weather I still do much better. I am such bad photosensitivity. That during these colder weather seasons when the sun is high in the sky, it helps so much.
Praying you get back to your happy place.
Please pray that our FDA approved Rutuximab for use in Lupus within the next few months. My rheumi and I are anxiously awaiting the news. I know that there are risks but I think the benefits will outweight them. With each new brain MRI and Spect scan new lesions appear. Gentle hugs and kisses, Lu
I hope your meds start working for you again soon!
In Jan here in Coastal GA it's usually pretty chilly, down in the 30s and 40s but now we are having close to 80 with a ton of rain!! I would maybe enjoy it more if the beach water wasn't 50! It's crazy weather everywhere!
mmmm Fuddruckers :)

LOL...be cranky, Dawn. We all are at times. This weather is just freaky. Also 60 in Pa. and the darned cherry blossoms in the city are actually blooming now. Not that I love snow but you have to wonder what the heck is going on. Hang in there and stay strong until your next IV. HUGS Chris
