A New Day

As the graphic above says... I have too many blessings to be depressed, so a new day, and moving on.

Not to say I am feeling less sore, because I am not.  Still sore and swollen.  Not much to do about it though!  Rheumatoid Arthritis sucks.  Period.  Thank goodness my Lupus is quiet.

I have mentioned that I am working on a fiction novel.  Last night, as I lay in bed trying in vain to fall asleep, I was able to brainstorm some plot planning!  I had brought my notebook into the bedroom to make some notes before shutting the light off, but after my epiphany (of sorts) I turned it back on and wrote everything down!

Sure, I wish I wasn't in pain and could just lay down and sleep like a normal person, but this was a positive outcome from the negative!

When life gives you lemons... make lemonade!

Many of you have asked about my novel.  I don't want to say too much, but it is a mystery set in NYC and involves a magical world that exists that 'everyday humans' don't know exists.  My heroine is very sassy, but has a big supportive family, entwined in her life and work.  Think Janet Evanovich meets Kim Harrison, for those of you familiar with these authors.

Well, off to relax a bit before Fuzzy and Pumpkin get in from school!

be well,
Dawn

One of the quotes I have saved in my favourite quotes file is:

Hope you feel better.  The extreme cold seems to make everything worse. Even here in Florida (a chilly 32 degrees this am) everything aches. These houses were never built to keep the cold out anyway...oh well just putting another sweater on..I look like a hippo in wool!  Good luck on your novel, it is absolutely fun to create stories to weave them and watch them grow after a while they seem to develop a life of their own.....take care   Sandi

That's where you and I are different, Dawn.

When life hands ME lemons, I cut them in half and squirt lemon juice into the eyes of the stupid people who piss me off and make life difficult.  But, you know, this is Wisconsin, and lemonade isn't all that popular in winter.
