What's New Pussycat?

Cin, who I interviewed over at Bad Altitude  has now interviewed me!

Here it is:

1. What kind of lunch box did you carry when you were a kid?

So, you think you already know the answer don't you?  Yes, okay, I did have a Barbie lunch box, you smarty pants.  My dad thinks I had a Sleeping Beauty or a Snow White, but I don't remember it.  My mother says I had a Dawn Doll lunch box, but I don't remember it, either.  I do remember several Scooby Doo lunch boxes, and so do my parents.  My favorite color was powder blue, so I had a lot of powder blue with flowers and stuff, too.  Gosh, I am such a dork.

2. What is on your kitchen window sill?

A beautiful silk African Violet, in a real terra cotta pot that Kathy gave me for Mother's Day (I think), because I kill everything else!  LOL  Flanking the pot to the left are Hammer and Pumpkin's meds/vitamins, and to the right Fuzzy's meds. (Hammer has Asperger meds, and Pumpkin and Fuzzy both have allergy meds.)

3. You are opening your own book store. What will you call it and what sort of theme will you have? Why should I buy my books there instead of going to the discount "big corporate" store?

I have actually thought about this before!  Great question!  I would have a book store called 'Books Anonymous', a shout out to the fact that books are one of my two addictions.  I would also have a coffee bar, of course, since that is my second addiction!  My theme would be the 'addiction' to cofee and books.  I would have the store decorated in all colors of golds and browns, and have saying painted on the walls like, 'I admit that I am powerless over the lure of books/coffee', it would be fun to play on that theme, and hopefully it wouldn't insult any 12-steppers out there.

You would want to come to my bookstore for the personal service, great coffee, quiet reading nooks, with comfy couches, and of course, to chat with ME!

4. You must give up one of the following: refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave or air conditioning. Which one can you possibly live without?

Microwave.  Totally.  Bye-bye!  Even the regular stove/oven, I would let go before the air conditioning or fridge.  As long as I have a toaster oven, I can do amazing things!  LOL  In fact, I could just order in and forget the fridge too, but don't touch my a/c!!!

5. You are having a yard sale this Saturday and can put out anything that is currently in your house that you would like to get rid of, even if it belongs to someone else who lives there. What will I find?

Another good question.  Probably lots of crap!  There would definitely be a kitchen sink, for real!  A spare that is in the basement.  Long story.  Also, some baby type things I have held onto for some stupid reason, some kitchen items that we don't need and don't use, and a whole lotta other clutter I could do without!  There are so many stuffed animals and half done Lego thingys, I bet they would go quick, too!  he he he

Thanks Cin, that was fun!

Here are the links to all the bloggers that I interviewed, in addition to Cin (see above link) and have posted their answers!  Go check them out!

Can I have a job at Books Anonymous?  PPLLEEAAASSSEEEE?  I could make coffee, bake fancy little cookies for the coffee bar, reach the high shelves to dust the books, PLEASE?  That sounds so awesome, and I just know it would be a total blast to work with you.

And in your Barbie thermos...coffee? I LOVE your book store and the "anonymous" theme! I also think you will be sued by AA--hhahaa. Bummer.

Yeah, I never even owned a microwave until I was about thirty and then it was a hand-me-down because some friend thought that I should not be living without one. Pfft. I could give it up, too.

You have interviewed well. Your reward is a good night's sleep.
Nighty, night,
Cin

You'd give up the microwave???  You need sleep because OBVIOUSLY you are not thinking clearly now.  I'd die if not for my microwave.  Seriously.
