Bringing it All Back Home

I brought Hubby home from the hospital in time for dinner!

Hubby was discarged on oral antibiotics, the Flagyl and Cipro, for the next 10 days, and can start to eat again, slowly.

We are all just happy and relieved that he is home from the hospital.

After dinner, I layed down and napped from 6 - 8pm... I was exhausted.   Stress, and not much sleep last night, or this week, caught up with me!

Thank you all for your kind comments and support!  I really appreciate it!  You are awesome!

be well,
Dawn

I am happy to read that your husband is home and I hope in NO pain.  That Flagyl and Cipro works wonders on divterticulitis.  Did they give him a special diet for diverticulitis?  Some physicians say no foods with tiny seeds.  Some say it doesn't matter.  This must have been rough on you as well.  It's great that he is home because we are always more comfortable in our own bed and home.  Hugs, Lu

Bless you and yours!  I know that it is as exhausting for the caregiver as for the one in the hospital!  Hope you all recover some today.

Glad the Hubby's home (and I believe you're the first woman I've ever said that to.  Go figure).  However, you might want to keep that Cipro talk to a minimum, otherwise Paris Hilton will be banging on your door.

Glad your Husband is home and mending. I have had the same experience a couple times. I was given the same drugs but, both times was kept in the hospital on IV for five days. It is not fun. He will be very tired and probably have "The Sweats" for a couple days. My wish for the best for him and the rest of you too! Regards, Bill & Libby.

I'm pleased your hubby is home now. Keep him away from all alcoholic drinks - if he doesn't he'll feel mighty ill.

Ugh, Dawn, I'm finally getting caught up with my reading.  Sheesh...what a week for all of you.  Glad your hubby got taken care of and is home again.  LOL at the drugs and the food and the plasma tv.  Hope the boys weren't too disappointed at being home but I know their super happy their daddy is ok.

You were wise not to e-mail Pumpkin's friend.  Let me tell you, I've been through this so many times with both my girls at that age and even older.  Jr. Hi is a nightmare with girls also.  It's best just to let it go.  The girls work it out on their own.  They tend to forget far faster than we mama's do.  Hang in there.  Hugs and Love, Chris
