"erm....is all that liquor for you or the kids?  hee hee hee...

I deliberately left this vague because I was not sure at the time I wrote it!!!  I suppose either would have had the desired effect!  LOL  Either they would have fallen asleep, or I wouldn't have cared anymore!

"Some day when they are grown and not at home you will look back and these sorts of night will STILL be an awful memory lol.  But you will miss those special moments when you were what they wanted most in life.
loving you

Yes, I will miss that.  Horribly.  Terribly.  I still can't even fathom that someday, they won't live here!  Waaaaaahhhhh!!!

"Yea, mine was just day 15...sigh.  Getting old sucks.  Bright side of the coin, I love the pics of the kids.  Why doesn't Hammer have a phone?  De ;)

Hammer is my Aspie that is homeschooled, and has never needed one as his school and activities have always been with me.  However, more recently, he has been just starting to widen his social circle, and has borrowed his brothers a couple of times.  Most often he socializes with his brother, so usually, one cell works.  If he asks for one, we will get him one, too, but he really doesn't care to have one yet!

Just some FYI stuff for you all!

Yesterday, we had a nice day!

Kathy was here with my nephew, J, and it was fun!

We headed to the town pool and stayed for about 2 hours!  J loved being in such a big pool and playing with his cousins!  Pumpkin carried him around in the water that was over his head!  She just loves being the 'big girl' babysitter and helper.

It was so chilly with a breeze though, and J started shivering.  We were just starting to pack up, when Kathy stepped on a bee and got stung!!!  OMG... I think we are bee magnets, or something!

Thankfully, it was just one of the clover honeybees again, and although it hurts for a bit, it seems everyone's reactions have been minor, and the same was true for Kathy.  She reacts much more to yellow jackets also.  Phew.

We came back to the house and Pumpkin and our neighbor across the street, Vi, decided to watch J at the park and play with him.  Fuzzy helped too, so Kathy and I ran to get my hair cut.

Yup, I cut 5 inches off the back and got a really cute very layered shag!  Maybe I will post a picture... soon.

Today, the boys are packing.  Tomorrow they leave for Boy Scout camp.  I took Fuzzy out for lunch today, just him and I, for a little alone time before he leaves.  We went to McD's, his choice, and then to Starbucks for dessert.  Fuzzy loves their marble pound cake.  :-)

Tonight, my parents are taking us out to dinner.  They are going to miss the boys sooooo much.

More on Boy Scout camp and what-not, tomorrow.

be well,
Dawn

What a great idea to answer commenters' questions in one journal entry!  Also it might be time to make a peace offering to the bees -- they have been mad at you guys for some reason!

Okay the fat person in me only read the words... marble pound cake at Starbucks! I have never been to one of those in my life.. I thought it was coffee didn't know they did desserts...hummmm I might have to be nosey at the brand new one they just built in our town. Here I was wondering WHY people are worried about coffee when it's burning hot outside. Now I could understand in winter.
Tell me more.
Hope the boys have a great time at camp.
Bees and your family... maybe cause you guys are sweet.
Take care, Chrissie
