Stand Back

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix...

... opened today at the movies!

And, we were there for the first show at 10:45 am!

It rocked!!!  It was excellent!!!  I loved it!!!

Of course, there were changes, and they couldn't put everything that is in the book in the movie, but they did an excellent job of getting the right 'feel' of this book in the movie.

Very dramatic, the sense of foreboding, the big climax ending... it was fantastic.

And, now on the 21st... the last of the books!

Oh JK Rowling... won't you reconsider?  Maybe after your kids are grown and at university, you could start writing the Harry as an adult books?  Please?

be well,
Dawn

Hey now slow down I'm still trying to see the Transformer movie you reviewed earlier?

Did you say you want to read Harry Potter "adult books?" Now that's an intriguing thought... Harry pulls out his wand and moves forward... Hermonie works her magic on Ron and he rises to meet her... OK... Stop it... I really have to get away from those paint fumes, they are deteriorating my morals and my brain cells.

THis weekend it might haveta be a double feature... Harry and Transformers.

I don't have time for the books... yet.  I love the movies, but only just watched the 3rd movie (I think) for the first time yesterday.  How did I miss it?  I'll be taking the kids to see the new movie later in the month.  As for the book... I'll let someone else buy it, and read it later when I have more time.  I am intimidated by the number of pages.  Glory beeeeeee.............!

I'm surprised my son didn't go see it today. He's a big fan. I've never seen the movies or read the books, but I did look at the DVDs the other day and think I will buy them and save them for my grandson. I've got him a whole library of movies to watch when he gets older.
Glad you all enjoyed and had a great time.
Take care, Chrissie

I saw Lindsay Buckingham recently.
