Here We Go Round the Puking Bowl

What happens when you have 3 kids and 1 kid gets sick???

Give the Mom in the front row a cigar!!!

That's right... the other kids get it, too!

Ahhh yes... and my house would be no exception to that rule.

Fuzzy woke up, felt funky and then threw up in the sink.  Thankfully, that was basically the full extent of the illness for him.  He even ate a good lunch.

Who knows... it may just be the calm before the storm for him though, because Pumpkin got slammed, the poor baby.

We got the call about 12:40 pm from the RN that she vomited all over herself and apparently the classroom, the hall and the RN's office.  Poor thing.

Since coming home she has thrown up some more and now has the other end going non-stop, too.  She looks pale and tired and so sad.

Just like Hammer did all day Saturday.  Even yesterday, Hammer was still a little peaked, but today, he is much better.

The sad thing for Pumpkin is that tomorrow was her class trip to the Trenton State House and meeting Governor Corzine.  She is feeling so crappy, she isn't even that upset about it.

Ahhhh yes, the joys of stomach virus!!!  And, parenting!  lol

I am sure this is all wayyyyy too much info for all of you!

I am doing okay with my weird symptoms, except the tingling has spread to my face, just the left half.  It is a really weird sensation!  It almost feels like something is crawling on or touching my face and I keep rubbing it!  Ugh!

I can't wait for the MRI on Friday.  Hopefully, there will be some explanation there and a treatment.  Although, with my luck, that will be too much to ask for!

Oh yeah, any Sopranos fans out there?  I was disappointed in the first new show last night.  I was really hoping for something big, some real twist.  Ah well.  I will keep watching, maybe it is coming!

be well,
Dawn

I have to tell you that I am a bit disappointed here. Every time someone in your house get sicks for whatever reason.  I get sick also.  Dag it.  So if yours has started.  I just have to hope and pray that mine does not start up that way so that I can still do something this weekend.  I hope it doesn't go through everyone this time and end up at you.  Hugs.  Tish

Hope you're all soon better, sickness is such a rare thing in this house, we like to  specialise in the sinus department, we  all have gut like steel!

Try to get the sick ones to drink plenty of fluid with a little salt and sugar (ask your chemist for oral rehydration salts) - you can get very dehydrated very quickly with D&V.

(((((((((Dawn)))))))))))) praying for the MRI to be accurate and, if possible, something lesser in the Awful Problems Scale.  I am so sorry the stomach flu is making its way through the entire family.
loving you

3 puking kids...yikes.  I don't think I ever had 3 at one time; maybe two.  A cigar, at the very least, is warranted; I'd say.  Dawn, I'm praying that your MRI goes well.  Hope they can find something out, and it's not anything serious.  HUGS  Chris
