The Calling

The thirty-ninth edition of CarnivAOL will be hosted by Kathi at MAIL CALL! Supporting The Troops, this coming Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Get the word out! Send Kathi your submissions to kasee267@aol.com before Sunday at midnight for inclusion in next week's carnival. Read Kathi's announcement of the carnival for more information, or explore the CarnivAOL blog for an explanation of what, exactly, a blog carnival is, and what CarnivAOL is all about.

There have been some excellent and fun guest hosts so far, and I am looking for more. If you are interested in hosting an edition of CarnivAOL send me an email to
PLittle@aol.com and let me know when you are available to do so. For open dates, look at the CarnivAOL upcoming editions page. For a description of just what is involved in hosting an edition of CarnivAOL, read the hosting guidelines, and visit some of the past editions.

Thank you, Paul!!!  So, everyone, pick an entry and send the link as per above!

In other news... Pumpkin came home from school with an ear ache.  The school RN checked her ear and sees fluid and some irritation, but the tube is clear.  It is her allergies.  Poor thing.

Everyone seems to be suffering, from a little to a whole lot!

be well,
Dawn

Aww, I hope Pumpkin feels better soon. You are lucky that her school has a nurse. We have one for the whole 3-town region here, I think. I've never even seen her.
My husband is going through his spring allergy stuff now, too. I don't seem to be allergic to any plants and there is no mold here in the desert so I'm good until an "air inversion" traps the smog n the valley. Then I suffer with the rest of you.
:-( Get the aloe-soft kleenex! Cin

:(  Poor Pumpkin!  :(  Allergies are upon us all.  My left eye is red again, and continues to cry..  I think school nurses are being replaced by clerical now at my son's school.  If a kid "isn't feeling well" for any reason, a call is automatically made to a parent for pick up.  I hope your Pumpking feels better soon.  :) Julie

My allergies seem to just come and go.  Sometimes it's just a little sniffle, and other times it's a full blown wheezing Ebola-esque hell with bloody eyes and a desire to see every piece of foliage in my entire town vaporized.

Anyway, thanks for the Carney update.  Fortunately, people have been picking entries for me, so feel free to find something and send it along if you find yourself with the urge.  I refuse to look back out of fear that I will plagiarize myself and subsequently sue myself for half of everything I own.
