"I'm glad there were strings to be pulled and you'll be seeing someone this week...before you break something important...like your head or the hand you hold the coffee cup with.
Dr. McDreamy is the guy who brings the coffee. --Cin"

I just wanted to assure Cin, and all, that nothing, I repeat, NOTHING, will keep me from my coffee!!!

Then, Marti left me this comment:

"only you can make a scenario like  that seem funny.
Really be well, Dawn.

Followed quickly by Lu, who agreed:

<FONTSIZE=4>Comment from: thebaabee
"I agree with Marti,
You have a way of making even the most dreadful experiences seem hilarious.  I hope you are healing.  Good luck with finding a neuro who participates in your insurance.  Even more so with the procedure.  I will be praying for you my friend.  Lu"

I just wanted to say, that first of all, falling is funny.  I mean, as long as you aren't in peices or dead.

Second, my inspiration for writing about my life, family and what-not, has been Erma Bombeck.  I read my first Erma Bombeck book when I was 12 years old and I was hooked.  I read them over and over until they fell apart.

And, life isn't anything if not for the ability to laugh at oneself, at the absurd, at the ridiculous, all mixed in with the heartbreak, the fears and the sadness!

Another comment from Cin, that I have to make note of here:

Oops, I did it again!

"Then I guess you don't want any Play-Doh perfume, huh? (Thay really do make that, ya know.) --Cin"

Interestingly enough, although I hate Play-Doh, I don't mind the smell.  However, Play-Doh perfume?  Now, that is just wrong.  Disturbing in fact.  I mean, what kind of person wears that and who are you going to attract with it?  Ewww... I just cannot even think about it... gives me the willies!  LOL

So, I have my third cup of coffee here beside me and I am going to head into the shower, now.

THANK YOU all for your wonderful comments in my journal and for all your support... all of you.  You help me more than I could ever express!

Fuzzy has a baseball game tonight!  And, that means from 3:05pm when he walks in the door, and Pumpkin and Grandpa, everything is on fast forward.

Homework, dinner, etc.  all sped up to warp speed!!!!

More later...

be well,
Dawn

I guess Play-Doh is the preferred perfume of pedophiles. (GROSS!) Hey, I like that coffee-sucking dragon. He's a cutie. --Cin

Sorry but Playdoh always had a strange allure. If I knew where to buy the perfume, I probably would.

No coffee today.... Won't be able to buy any until tonight when my paycheck clears.  I can feel the strength seeping out of me with every breath.  If I don't make it, thank you for being my friend.
Love you, Dorn~

Love all of your coffee graphics Dawn!!  This is a wonderful entry!  Hope you have a great day and try not to drink too much energy.  The other day I was running circles from my coffee, and I don't think I gotta thing done.  LOL but I had fun trying.  Hugs,

Oh, I have found someone who likes Erma Bombeck.  Maybe I will review this book of hers I found the other day in a thrift store. "The ties that bind...and gag!" I found myself laughing right outloud especially when I read about her visiting her son and his giant cockroaches.  Erma lived in Phoenix and her son Andy taught both my Ronda and Linda's Rissy in the thrift grade.  My daughter ws so overcome by having a famous writer's son for a teacher, she wrote him a life story that must have caused his hair to hang on end.  It caused my hair to stand on end when I read it. He called me in for a conference to see if maybe she needed therapy.  I decided no she was just surfacing her gene inherited from a writer mother.  Some people are writing animals maybe long before they get publsihed.  Did I comment on this before.  Forgive me if I did.   Gerry
